Rory has re-joined us for the summer after completing his UNB Mechanical Engineering degree with a minor in Dirt (Geology actually..) so along with that good news is more good news – our tune-up and minor repair turnaround time stands at 72 hours. So what’cha waiting for? Bring in your bike and get back into the woods or on the road as quickly as possible.

We just received an assortment of KHS bikes today along with a new line of spandex clothing we’re very excited to have. Spring is 14 days away so if your in our neighbourhood drop by. Today  a shop guy from Phillipe’s Bicycle Repair in Whitehorse, Yukon dropped by to visit  while he was in the area. It’s cool having bike shop people from across North America drop by our shop and exhange experiences with us.

We’ve completed our renovations out front and just have our repair shop to do but that won’t affect service turnaround times at all. 

Hey, Spring is 17 days away, believe it or not so we advise you to get your ride in for it’s spring tune-up ahead of the rush. Also, if you want to save some cash come in and see our remaining 2008 models, still a few left.

Just a small note to thank our customers for their patience while we had our store in disarray for the paint job it underwent. We’re pretty happy with the results and we have all of our stock and bicycle back on the sales floor.

Also, don’t forget about your bike on Valentines Velotines Day, they need love too, whether that’s a simple cleaning or a new component.

Yes, soon spring will soon be here and we’ll be back on our bikes again and this year our shop will be hosting a few fun bike events to get you warmed up in February and March. Details will be posted here as soon as we complete the planning. Also, our shop is undergoing a major paint job and although we strive to keep organized and clean, our staff may look dusty and speckled over the next week as we roll out our new color scheme (Bwaahaaahaaa!!!). We think you’ll be impressed. Actually, we just took the advice of a color consultant.

On the bike front, “it’s so nice to see tire tracks in Rockwood Park”  says Joe, one of staff members who can be found on the weekends playing on the lakes and open trails. Studded tires and winter bike clothing rock!
